Alanah is a qualified teacher. She has a BA (Professional Communication) from Monash University, where she specialised in Creative Writing. She also has a Master of Teaching from Deakin University, and experience working with high school students from Year 7-12.

Student Anthologies
Helping students see their creative writing published is one of Alanah’s favourite activities. In 2018, Alanah’s Y9 English class wrote science fiction stories and she turned them into a print book and eBook. The students were so excited to be ‘real authors’ and they were great for fundraising, so Alanah would love to offer this to teachers around the globe.
